Britney Spears' New Song Breaks Records But Accused Of Stealing 'Hold It Against Me'

Britney Spears' new single is already a record-breaker -
has garnered the highest number of U.S. radio plays in one day.
Spears released her highly-anticipated track on Monday (10Jan11) and the new single became an instant success, shooting to the top of America's iTunes digital chart on the first day it was available, before falling to second place.
The song also shattered all previous one-day airplay records in America on Monday.
A spokesperson for radio analysts Musicrunch says, "Top 40 outlets across the country immediately put Hold It Against Me in rotation and received instant-reaction airplay at America's most-influential stations including Z100 and WXRK in New York and KIIS and KAMP in Los Angeles."

There are news that She has been accused of stealing the lyrics for her new song  from the Bellamy Brothers.
Britney released the song this week, and was quickly hit with the plagiarism claims.
According to the Bellamy Brothers, Britney's songwriters Dr Luke and Max Martin stole lyrics from their 1979 song "If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body, Would You Hold It Against Me".
The title of their song actually comes from a Groucho Marx line from an old movie.
The Bellamy Brothers aren't planning to sue as yet, but still believe that their lyrics were copied
